Incarcerated down-south rap legend C-Murder returns March 22, 2005 with The Truest S*** I Ever Said! Jailed since his controversial conviction in a nightclub shooting in 2000, C-Murder recorded The Truest S*** I Ever Said, which features appearances from Soulja Slim, B.G., Akon, and Capone among others, from behind bars.

C-Murder garnered fame and respect in the hip hop world first as a member of the Southern hip hop super group TRU (Link to TRU site? SURE ) with his brothers Master P and Silkk the Shocker. He defined himself as a solo artist in 1998, with the release of Life or Death, followed by Bossalinie in 1999.

In 2000, C-Murder was further recognized as a solo star for his appearance in the 504 Boyz’s smash hit “Wobble Wobble”. His third album Trapped In Crime featured C-Murder/Snoop Dogg/Magic collaboration “Down for My N’s” and marked the launch of his own record label, Tru Records.

On the eve of the release of his fourth album, Tru Dawgs, a controversial nightclub shooting resulted in C-Murder being sentenced to life in jail. Four years later, C-Murder re-emerges with The Truest S*** I Ever Said on March 22, 2005 from KOCH Records.
